Giving That Gives Back
I’ve always believed that giving is about more than the gift itself. At its core, giving is connection — to people, to stories, and to the communities that shape us.
Giving back to our community, and to the communities of our clients, makers, artists, and vendors, matters deeply to us. The work we do is built on relationships, and we feel a responsibility to honor those relationships in meaningful ways. That’s why we’re intentional about where we source from and who we partner with. We love working with companies that believe, as we do, that generosity creates connection.
When we were given the opportunity to create a gift for a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan, it felt important to get it right — not just in how it looked or functioned, but in what it represented. That’s what led us to Varsity Coolers. Their duffle bag cooler checked all the boxes aesthetically and practically, but more importantly, it carried purpose.
A portion of the purchase supports the Patricia Allen Fund, which was created in honor of Josh Allen’s late grandmother, Patricia. The fund benefits pediatric critical care at Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, supporting children and families during incredibly difficult moments. What began as an outpouring of love from the Buffalo community has grown into something truly impactful.
Knowing that this gift was connected to something bigger — to a place, a team, and a community that shows up for one another — made it feel especially meaningful. It became more than just a gift. It became a small way to be part of a larger story.
This is why giving back is so important to us. When we can connect our clients to makers who care, and makers to communities that benefit, everyone wins. The gift carries more weight. The gesture lasts longer.
Because in the end, the most meaningful gifts aren’t just received — they’re felt. And the best ones give back.
